Sick Culture

What are the marks of a sick culture? It is a bad sign when the people of a country stop identifying themselves with the country and start identifying with a group. A racial group. Or a religion. Or a language. Anything, as long as it isn’t the whole population.

App Idea

Many people could use an app where you take a picture of your prescription and it makes reminders for you of when to take them.  Maybe you take a picture of the pill bottle, it pulls the frequency info from there.  Squirts that data into your calendar app?

What I’m reading: The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business Busy day today, reworked the Water Softener, limiting the water usage. Cleaned up and organized the garage. Cleaned up and organized my workbench. Got 600 words done in Jax’s moms story line.  Calling it a good day.

Keep ahead of the curve. Get out and see the world. It’s not going to kill you …

What I’m reading: Thinking in Bets: Making Smarter Decisions When You Don’t Have All the Facts Today was a mixed bag.  Got two recliners for the media room and Sandra really likes them.  Had to do a bit of driving to get them though, so it sorta blew through the day. Spent an hour reformatting the …

Spend It All

One of the few things I know about writing is this: spend it all, shoot it, play it, lose it, all, right away, every time. Do not hoard what seems good for a later place in the book, or for another book; give it, give it all, give it now. The impulse to save something …
